Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g lentils, brown
  • 2 small carrots
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 package of diced ham
  • 1 leek
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 tsp goulash spice (goulash cream)
  • n. B. Caraway powder
  • n. B. garlic

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Bring the lentils to a boil in a pot of water with the bay leaf. Dice the potatoes, carrots, and onions and add them to the lentils. Now add the sliced ​​leek and diced ham and let the soup simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Just before the soup is ready, stir in the goulash cream and bring back to a boil. If desired, you can also add some caraway or garlic to the soup.
