Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g penne (wholemeal), cooked in broth al dente
  • 1 cup cream cheese with French herbs
  • 1 pack of sauce powder (tomato sauce)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 handful of bell pepper(s) (frozen), cut into strips
  • ½ small onion(s), diced
  • ½ carrot(s), diced
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 75 ml wine
  • 270 ml water
  • pepper
  • chili
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Place the pasta in a deep casserole dish and toss with the cream cheese. Brown the pepper strips, carrots, and diced onions in a pan, then add the tomato paste and wine and sauté briefly while stirring. Add about 270 ml of water and stir in the sauce powder to thicken (if you don’t like this sauce powder, simply use cornstarch and a little more tomato paste and add more seasoning later). If it gets too thick, thin with water to the desired consistency. Season generously with pepper, chili, vegetable stock, and basil. Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approx. 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
