Quick pasta sauce with bacon, mushrooms and onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 1 tbsp, clarified butter
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 200 g bacon cubes
  • ½ jar mushrooms, drained
  • 350 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp processed cheese
  • 4 egg yolks
  • salt and pepper

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Briefly sauté the onions, bacon, and mushrooms in the clarified butter. Deglaze with the cream and reduce the sauce until slightly thickened. Add the cream cheese and remove the pan from the heat. Add the egg yolks, stirring vigorously. Season with salt and pepper. Toss the drained pasta well in the sauce, serve immediately, and enjoy.
