Quick pumpkin soup at Monsieur Cuisine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tsp peanut oil
  • 1 m.-large Hokkaido pumpkin(s)
  • n. B. water
  • 1 small piece(s) of ginger
  • 2 tsp curry
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth, alkaline
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 200 ml oat cream (oat cream cuisine)

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and roughly dice the onions, and place them in the Monsieur Cuisine. Add the peanut oil and select the sauté function for 6 minutes. In the meantime, deseed and dice the pumpkin, then add it to the onions along with the ginger. Select the sauté function for another 3 minutes. Pour in water until the pumpkin is just covered, then cook for 20 minutes at 100°C on level 2. Gradually add all the spices. Once boiling, add the oat cream and puree for 30 seconds, increasing the speed to level 10. If you don’t have a food processor, you can alternatively simply prepare the soup in a saucepan and then puree it at the end.
