Quick rice pan with sausages

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g rice, cooked (possibly from the previous day)
  • ½ small onion(s)
  • 1 piece(s) herb butter
  • 1 Vienna sausage
  • 50 g mini mozzarella or feta cubes
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • some chili powder or pepper
  • possibly salt
  • some herbs, e.g. parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Use of leftovers, variable, also with vegetables

Pour the herb butter into a pan and fry the cooked rice in it. Dice the onion and add it. Slice the sausage and add it as well, and continue to fry. Season with chili or pepper. Be careful with the salt; the herb butter is usually enough. Now crack the egg and stir in. Halve the mozzarella balls and mix everything together. Melt the cheese briefly. Sprinkle with herbs. If you like, you can also add peas or bell peppers; they taste great too. Also delicious vegetarian, without the sausage.
