Vegetable rice, quick and easy

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup rice (basmati or fragrant rice)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth, granulated
  • 1 pack of frozen vegetables (buttered vegetables)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

A very tasty variation!

Bring the water and vegetable broth to a boil. Add the rice and simmer gently in a covered pot over low heat. Do not stir. The rice is ready when all the water has been absorbed by the rice. Small “craters” will form on the surface of the rice. Now stir in the buttered vegetables and seasoned butter from the frozen package, heat briefly, and enjoy.
