Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g QimiQ
- 250 g quark
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 500 ml cream
- 40 ladyfingers, wholemeal
- some lemon juice, to taste
- 1 can peach(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 50 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 50 minutes
Mix QimiQ, quark, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla sugar thoroughly. Whip the whipped cream separately until stiff. I have a very good food processor, but I don’t use cream stabilizer. But you can, of course! Fold the whipped cream into the cream. Chop the peach halves from the can into small pieces, reserving a couple of nicer, longer pieces for decoration. Place a 26cm cake ring or springform pan on a cake plate. Line the base with 20 sponge cakes. Layer the cream, then fruit, another 20 sponge cakes, and then cream in the pan. Reserve some of the cream for decoration and garnish the cake with puff pastries and the remaining peach pieces, or as desired. Refrigerate the cake overnight. Remove the cake from the refrigerator and carefully remove the cake ring. I made this cake once with strawberries. It tasted good but was a bit runny. The cake is perfect for children’s birthdays!
