Styrian lamb's lettuce (corn salad)

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 3 slice(s) bread(s) (brown bread), diced
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • n. B. pumpkin seed oil, streirisches
  • e.g. balsamic vinegar
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

cold-warm

Wash the lettuce and drain well. Dice the bacon and fry in a nonstick pan (without oil), then add the bread cubes and fry. Dress the salad with oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the bread and bacon cubes over the salad and serve immediately. Tip: Boiled potatoes also go very well with this dish (simply chop them up at the end and toss them in). The salad also tastes great with apple cider vinegar.
