Quick tomato soup with ham

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 package of cooked ham
  • 4 tsp, heaped sugar
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 5 tsp cornstarch
  • n. B. water
  • 2 tsp, heaped oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

super fast and uncomplicated

Combine the passata and tomato paste in a large pot and bring to a boil. Fill the passata packaging with water and add it. Dice the cooked ham and add it to the soup along with the crushed stock cube, sugar, and oregano. Bring the soup to a boil. Dissolve the cornstarch in the cream and add it. Stir well and return to a boil, seasoning with salt and pepper. Perfect as a quick main course with a sandwich or baguette.
