Quick wok vegetables with broccoli and carrots

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 300 g broccoli
  • 6 large carrots
  • Oil (preferably peanut oil)
  • 1 tbsp, sautéed ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp, levelled sugar
  • Salt

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

It’s so easy to give local vegetables an Asian touch

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash, trim, and finely chop/pluck the broccoli. Wash, trim, and slice the carrots. Sauté the onion and garlic in oil in a wok or large pan. Add the broccoli and carrots and fry for a few minutes. Add the ginger, soy sauce, and sugar; mix well; cover and simmer over medium heat for 7-10 minutes. Season with salt. Serve as a side dish with, for example, basmati rice with an Asian sauce (e.g., soy or peanut sauce).
