Quinoa Buns
The perfect quinoa buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Grated Gouda
- 2 size Carrots
- 0,5 bunch Parsley
- 100 g Quinoa
- 4 Eggs
- Salt and pepper
- 2 Roman lettuce hearts
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 6 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 14 tbsp Oil
- 6 tbsp Water
- Peel and grate the carrots. Roughly chop the parsley. Wash the quinoa and cook according to the instructions on the packet, drain and allow to cool. Put Gouda cheese with carrots, parsley, quinoa and eggs in a bowl. Season well with salt and pepper and mix everything thoroughly and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Clean the lettuce hearts, cut into large pieces and place in a bowl. Whisk with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, vinegar, water and oil. Mix carefully into the salad.
- Shape the quinoa mixture into 8 meatballs. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Brown the meatballs in it and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side over a medium heat. Drain on kitchen paper. Arrange with the salad on plates and serve.
