Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 handful of noodles (ramen noodles), or glass noodles
- 2 spring onions
- some chili powder
- some chicken breast fillet(s) or beef, cut into small pieces
- e.g. beef broth or chicken broth
- some sesame oil
- Soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Japanese noodle soup with topping
Cook the noodles in salted water and drain. Slice a spring onion into small rings and fry in a pan until translucent, then add the meat and cook. Heat the broth, season with chili, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Pour the broth into a tall bowl and place the noodles in it, leaving them above the broth. Carefully pour the mixture from the pan over the noodles, then slice another spring onion into rings and place it on top. Drizzle sesame oil decoratively over the noodles and serve.
