Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow, green, finely chopped
  • 2 m.-large vegetable onions, finely chopped
  • 500 g beef goulash
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 cube of stock
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 small jar of young, fine broad beans
  • 1 gr. can/n mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • n. B. water
  • possibly sauce thickener, flour or cornstarch to thicken

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Quarter the meat pieces, as they are too large. Then fry briefly but quickly until lightly browned. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté lightly again. Add the water, stock cube, paprika powder, and passata and simmer for about 1 hour, until the meat is tender. Then chop the broad beans a little smaller and add them with the mushrooms. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Thicken if necessary. I always serve this with onion bread.
