Ravioli with basil filling

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 130 ml water, lukewarm
  • Salt
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 50 g pine nuts
  • 30 g butter
  • e.g. basil, fresh or dried
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

For the dough, put the flour, egg, water, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl and knead into a smooth dough. For the filling, toast the pine nuts, melt the butter, and mix with the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Add basil, salt, and pepper to taste. Roll out the dough and cut out circles using a cutter (approx. 7 cm in diameter). Place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center and fold the dough into half-moons. Then cook the ravioli in plenty of boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Serve the finished ravioli with butter and, if desired, basil strips.
