Red Cabbage – dumplings
The perfect red cabbage – dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Rest of the red cabbage approx. 100 grams
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Food starch
- 1 Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Pepper and salt
- Some flour
- Oil
- Mix the red cabbage with starch. Shape into small balls and place in the freezer for an hour.
- Whisk the egg. Season breadcrumbs with salt and pepper.
- Roll red cabbage balls in the flour, pull through the egg and turn in breadcrumbs. Pull through the egg a second time and turn in the breadcrumbs.
- Bake in hot oil. Remove excess fat on paper towels. Keep warm in the oven at 100 degrees.
