Red herring salad with beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar Bismarck herring
  • 800 g beef (boiled beef or soup meat), cooked
  • 2 potatoes, boiled
  • 2 onions
  • 3 cucumber(s) from the jar
  • 1 jar beetroot, approx. 400 g
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp, heaped mayonnaise
  • possibly hazelnuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

Chop all ingredients and mix. Add a little more beetroot juice and refrigerate for 24 hours. If you like, you can also stir in hazelnuts.
