Red wine Spitzbuben

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 140 g butter
  • 3 tbsp red wine
  • 1 pack of chocolate coating
  • Jelly (blackcurrant jelly or wine jelly)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the baking powder, sugar, egg, cocoa powder, cinnamon, butter, and red wine and make a dough. Set the dough in a cool place for about 1 hour. Knead the dough again briefly and then roll it out. Cut out cookies as desired and cut a hole in the center of half of the cookies. Place the cookies on a prepared baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Caution: the cookies will rise considerably! Spread a little jelly on each of the cooled cookies without a hole (always on the smooth side that was on the baking sheet!) and place a cookie with a hole on top. Brush the edges of the cookies with melted chocolate of your choice. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
