Refreshing pig's ears with mint

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pkt. puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 50 g sugar (mint sugar), see my profile
  • 2 handfuls of mint or peppermint

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry. Spread the sugar evenly over it. Roll the dough sheet up from both long sides to the middle and press down. Cut the dough into approximately 1 cm wide slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let it rest for a while. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake on the middle rack for about 12-15 minutes. Tip: If you like, you can dip the pig’s ears in chocolate. They taste great without the chocolate coating.
