Refreshingly Colorful Stir-fried Vegetables

The perfect refreshingly colorful stir-fried vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Red pointed peppers
  • 4 Spring onions
  • 2 cups Corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 half a teaspoon Sambal Oelek
  1. Remove the seeds and white inner skins from the peppers and then cut into bite-sized pieces. Also divide the spring onions into large pieces, putting the intensely green tubes aside because they take a much shorter cooking time than the more compact, light-colored pieces. Preheat a dry pan with a lid over a mild heat.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wok and add the peppers with the light onions. Fry for about three minutes, turning constantly and immediately transferring the vegetables to the warm pan. Now put the green onion tubes with the corn kernels, the soy sauce and sambal oelek into the wok, heat everything well while turning and fold in the vegetables from the pan again. Then serve immediately.
  3. I served this delicious vegetable (it was an experiment) with a potato salad – lukewarm. There were also minced meat rolls, which are also called cévapcici ..
