Ingredients

  • 7 piece Garden carrots
  • 1 Handful Spring onions, the green, fresh, sliced
  • 5 piece Cherry tomatoes quartered
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  • Had goulash prepared according to this recipe: Rustic turkey and cream goulash.
  • A mishap happened to me during the final seasoning. Too much of the homemade chili spice ended up in the goulash. It was no longer edible. Not even after trying all the tricks I know. Since I found it too good for the bin, I frozen it first. Until I had an idea how to use it.
  • Thanks to the contribution from lunapiena in the chat "Create new cooking / baking dishes" I got a flash of inspiration.
  • Scraped, washed and cut 7 garden carrots into small pieces.
  • I then steamed the pieces in butter until they were firm to the bite. Then the green of the spring onions and the tomato quarters were added to the pot and finally the honey was stirred in.
  • Now the thawed goulash was added and everything was brought to the boil. Then let it steep for a few minutes over low heat. The saved goulash was served to fork spaghetti.
  • In this way, a new recipe was created almost unintentionally from an old recipe. Chili spice see last picture !!
