Rhubarb Cake with Meringue!
The perfect rhubarb cake with meringue! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Shortcrust :
- 500 g Fresh rhubarb
- 210 g Sifted flour
- 100 g Butter at room temperature
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 3 Pc. Protein
- 150 g Sugar
Prepare :
- Cut off the ends of the rhubarb, wash if necessary. Cut into small pieces, leaving the skin on.
Shortcrust :
- Sift the flour onto a work surface.
- Add the butter, sugar and egg, knead quickly.
Baking tray:
- Brush the tray with a little butter. Put the dough on top and press it to the edge.
- Spread the rhubarb on the dough. Bake for 20 minutes at 170 ° C.
Meringue:
- Beat the egg whites into snow, slowly trickle in the sugar, beating for another 1-2 minutes. Put the egg whites in a piping bag, spray on strips and bake for another 17 minutes. Let cool in the tray.
