Rice – carrot – goat cheese patties

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g brown rice
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 320 g water
  • 120 g cheese, grated (goat cheese)
  • 250 g carrot(s), finely grated
  • 50 g onion(s), finely chop
  • 2 tsp herbal salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 20 peppercorns, ground
  • 80 g buckwheat, ground to bind
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

gluten-free, soy-free, egg-free, cow’s milk-free

Cook 160g brown rice with 1 tsp turmeric in 320g water over low heat for about 35 minutes, then let it swell for about 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients except the cooking fat. Form patties with wet hands and fry in the hot fat over reduced heat on both sides. Caution! The dough will be soft, even when flipped. My own recipe.
