- Cook carrots with it. The pectin contained in the carrots promotes constipation and also binds toxins. If you prefer it sweet, grate an apple under the rice. Pectin is also contained in apples. Alternatively, mash a banana and mix it into the rice.
- Drink plenty of water. When you have diarrhea, your body loses a lot of fluid that needs to be replenished to keep you from becoming dehydrated. Avoid drinks that irritate the stomach and thus the intestines: alcohol, coffee and fruit juices are taboo.
