Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 onion(s)
- 100 g bacon
- 100 g long grain rice, parboiled
- 200 ml water
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel and deseed the bell peppers, then roughly dice them along with the onion. Roughly chop the bacon. Place the rice, water, and all other ingredients in a pot (do not fry them first). Simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes, until the rice has absorbed the liquid. Season with salt and pepper.
