Roast Pork Neck on Bed of Salt
The perfect roast pork neck on bed of salt recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 kg Salt
- 1,5 kg Pig neck
- Spread the 3 kg of salt on a baking sheet lined with baking paper – with a recess / bed for the roast.
- Place the pork neck in the hollow. Strip the salt on your fingers on top of the roast.
- Put the roast on the bed of salt in the oven at 180 degrees top and bottom heat.
- After 3 hours you can lift the roast from the salt bed and serve with sauerkraut and bread or potatoes. It also tastes delicious cold as a topping on bread!
