Roast Pork Neck
The perfect roast pork neck recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1,2 kg Pork neck
- 0,2 l Water
- 2 Onions
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Chilli paste to your own taste
- Salt, pepper, paprika
- 0,2 l Red wine
- 1 tbsp Food starch
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- I use Stoneline you don’t need any fat, I put the meat on a roasting basket that does not lie on the bottom of the pan, so that it is crispy pork neck all around and seasoned well.
- Cut the onion into half rings, chop the garlic and add to a square pan with water.
- I put the seasoned meat on the roasting basket and put it in the oven for about 60 minutes.
- After 60 minutes I season the sauce with the spices and whisk the cornstarch with the red wine, then add it to the rest and let it boil, reduce the sauce well and season.
- I let the meat rest for 10 minutes and then cut it up and put it in the sauce.
