Roast Pork Neck

The perfect roast pork neck recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1,2 kg Pork neck
  • 0,2 l Water
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Chilli paste to your own taste
  • Salt, pepper, paprika
  • 0,2 l Red wine
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  1. I use Stoneline you don’t need any fat, I put the meat on a roasting basket that does not lie on the bottom of the pan, so that it is crispy pork neck all around and seasoned well.
  1. Cut the onion into half rings, chop the garlic and add to a square pan with water.
  1. I put the seasoned meat on the roasting basket and put it in the oven for about 60 minutes.
  1. After 60 minutes I season the sauce with the spices and whisk the cornstarch with the red wine, then add it to the rest and let it boil, reduce the sauce well and season.
  1. I let the meat rest for 10 minutes and then cut it up and put it in the sauce.
