- 200 g almonds, unpeeled
- 3 tbsp Amaretto
- 4 tbsp sugar, brown
- 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 pinch(s) clove(s), ground
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper

Combine the almonds with the remaining ingredients in a microwave-safe dish and toast in the microwave at 600W for 5 minutes, stirring thoroughly every 2 minutes. Immediately transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread out slightly to prevent sticking, and allow to cool thoroughly.
