Roasted Tomato Soup

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 garlic bulb(s)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • olive oil
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 1 can tomatoes, pureed, approx. 400 g
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Roughly chop the tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle the garlic bulb and vegetables with olive oil. Roast everything in the oven at 200°C using the grill setting for 15 minutes. Peel the garlic. Place the vegetables in a smoothie blender and blend with the basil and canned passata. Bring everything to a boil in a saucepan and season with cream, salt, and pepper.
