Rösti – Made from Potatoes and Carrots
The perfect rösti – made from potatoes and carrots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Potatoes
- 100 g Carrot
- 1 piece Charlotte
- 1 piece Organic egg
- 20 g Sunflower seeds
- 50 g Flour
- Salt pepper
- Rapeseed oil for frying
- Creme fraiche herbs as a side dish
- Prepare the ingredients. Cut the charlotte into small pieces. Peel the carrots and potatoes, then weigh them. Roughly grate both in a bowl. Now add all the other ingredients, salt and pepper, mix everything.
- Heat some rapeseed oil in a pan at medium temperature and then add 1 heaped tablespoon of vegetable mixture to the pan, press flat and shape. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Either use two pans or keep the first ones warm in the oven. Serve with the creme fraiche with herbs.
