taste good not only at Christmas

Knead the flour with baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, nuts, salt, and the butter into small pieces to form a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in aluminum foil and chill for 30-60 minutes. Then, shape the dough into about 40 walnut-sized balls and make a well in the center of each, using a wooden spoon handle, for example. Heat the jam or jelly and fill each well a little. Place the cookies on two baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) or 175°C (fan oven) for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. If you like, you can dust the cookies with a little more powdered sugar.
