Cookies – ' Buttered bread with chives '

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 400 g ground almonds
  • 250 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g chocolate (block chocolate), grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 300 g sugar
  • 50 g pistachios, chopped for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Christmas cookies

Knead together the flour, almonds, sugar, butter, chocolate, and eggs. Roll into a sausage about 5 cm thick and cut into slices 1/2 – 1 cm thick. Bake at 175°C for 25-30 minutes. For the glaze, thoroughly mix the egg yolks and sugar. Spread the glaze over the cookies and garnish with chopped pistachios. The cookies will then resemble little buttered bread with chives.
