Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 80 g butter
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 ml milk
  • 250 ml rum
  • 8 tsp cocoa
  • 500 g powdered sugar
  • 250 g desiccated coconut
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Make a batter from sugar, butter, eggs, flour, cocoa, milk, and baking powder. Spread onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 200°C for about 25 minutes. Once cooled, cut into cubes. Mix together the rum, powdered sugar, and cocoa. Dip the cubes into the liquid and then coat them in the desiccated coconut. It’s a bit more work, but it’s worth the effort.
