Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of rusks
  • 1 jar applesauce
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Line a square baking dish with rusks. Spread half a jar of applesauce on top. Add another layer of rusks, then another layer of applesauce. Finish with a final layer of rusks. Prepare the vanilla pudding with milk and sugar according to the package instructions and pour lukewarm over the layered dessert. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and let it sit for about 3 hours. Enjoy well chilled as a dessert or cake.
