Christmas cookies meet Milanese night
Place the sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, flour, and cornstarch on the worktop. Make a well in the center and add the egg whites and martini mix. Add small pieces of butter on top and knead everything into a smooth dough. Shape into a ball, wrap in foil, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough and cut out shapes. Bake in the oven for 6-8 minutes. Let cool. Mix the powdered sugar and martini mix to make a glaze, then ice the cookies and garnish with lemon zest. Depending on the size of the cookies, this will make 4-5 trays.
