Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, room temperature
  • 15 g sage
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 3 pinch(s) herb pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 1 hour 11 minutes

Wash the sage, shake dry, and chop finely. Heat some of the butter in a pan and lightly toast the sage. Let it cool briefly. Put the remaining butter in a small bowl and press in the garlic. Wash and zest the lemon, squeeze the juice, and add both to the butter. Mix in the sage, season with salt and pepper to taste. Cool in the refrigerator and let it set. Tastes delicious on toasted bread, with grilled food, and also with tortellini and fried potatoes.
