Salad with fried sesame honey mini dumplings and bacon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 package of dumplings (mini potato dumplings)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 salad of your choice, e.g. lettuce hearts
  • olive oil
  • Vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • lemon juice
  • 4 slice(s) bacon, thinly sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Quick summer dish

Wash the lettuce, tear it into small pieces, and place it in a bowl. Mix the remaining ingredients together to make a dressing. Cook the mini dumplings until tender and let them cool slightly. Then halve them and fry them in butter over medium heat. Press the peeled garlic into the pan and fry briefly. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the lettuce and toast them. Add the honey and stir well. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Fry the bacon in a pan. Arrange the salad on the plates and drizzle with the dressing. Arrange the dumplings over the salad and place the warm bacon on top. Serve with baguette.
