Salmon and avocado toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 1 pack of smoked salmon, approx. 150 – 200 g
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 lime(s)
  • horseradish
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Toast the bread and spread it with butter and horseradish (I like it spicy, so I use a lot of horseradish, but that’s a matter of taste). Place a nice slice of salmon on the buttered and horseradish-covered toast, then top it with the sliced avocado. Meanwhile, squeeze the lime into a small bowl, press in the garlic, and mix with salt and pepper. Drizzle the sauce over the four slices of toast and enjoy. Tips: Make sure you use enough salt for the avocado. You can garnish with a finely chopped habanero on top, but it tastes fantastic on its own too. If you use small slices of toast, this also makes a great appetizer, or you can serve it as small snacks.
