Salmon fillet in soy-honey marinade on steamed Chinese cabbage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp mustard (hot tarragon mustard)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 Chinese cabbage (leaf cabbage)
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix the soy sauce, mustard, and honey and season with pepper. Pour the marinade into a bowl, add the salmon fillets, coat well, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes (turning occasionally). Wash the Chinese cabbage and cut each leaf into about three large pieces. Heat a little water in a saucepan and sauté the Chinese cabbage, seasoning with salt. Heat oil in a pan and fry the salmon fillets on both sides. About 1 minute before removing from the pan, add the rest of the marinade and let it thicken briefly. Arrange the Chinese cabbage on a plate, place the salmon fillets on top, and pour the marinade over them.
