Salmon fillet on creamed spinach

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 750 ml milk
  • 2 pts. mashed potato powder
  • 450 g spinach (creamed spinach, frozen)
  • 600 g salmon fillet(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Peel and halve the garlic, and rub the cut side of the garlic into an ovenproof dish. Brush with oil. Bring the milk to a boil, remove from the heat, stir in the purée powder and 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour half of it into the dish and level the surface. Spread the spinach on top. Divide the salmon into 4 pieces, season with salt and pepper, and place on the spinach. Wash the lemon in warm water and slice it. Spread it over the salmon. Place the remaining purée in the spaces between the pieces. Finally, sprinkle butter flakes over the spinach and bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
