Salmon noodles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pasta, e.g. E.g. spaghetti
  • 300 g salmon fillet(s)
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 shot of elderflower syrup
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard
  • 1 orange slice(s)
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 piece(s) Parmesan rind
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1 tsp, heaped Baharat
  • some nutmeg
  • 2 chili peppers, dried
  • 2 carnations
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Briefly fry the salmon in butter and season with salt and pepper. After a while, add the orange slice. Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger and add them. Season with chilies, cloves, nutmeg, soy sauce, marjoram, and baharat. Deglaze with a little of the pasta cooking water, add the elderflower syrup, mustard, and cream. Add the Parmesan rind and simmer for 5-10 minutes. If desired, you can finely chop the basil and add it or garnish it at the end. Serve the sauce with the salmon, pasta, and freshly grated Parmesan. Tip: If you want more orange flavor, you can add orange zest.
