Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 pack of cream cheese with chili
  • 1 handful of basil
  • 1 pack of cream or milk
  • 400 g pasta of your choice
  • salt water
  • 2 tbsp pesto (basil pesto)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. Add the salmon to a pan and heat over medium heat until it turns a pale pink (about 4 minutes). Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them. Don’t stir too often, or the mixture will fall apart. Just before the pasta is cooked, add the chili cream cheese and top up with cream. You can vary the amount of cream to your liking. If you like, you can also use milk instead of cream. Now mix everything together; the salmon should now fall apart. Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce; this will make it taste best. Divide among plates and add a spoonful of pesto. Sprinkle the basil leaves on top at the end.
