Salmon rolls with cheese filling

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 slices of smoked salmon
  • 125 g cream cheese (goat’s cheese, Caprino) or cow’s cheese
  • 1 tbsp horseradish, grated
  • 2 ½ lemon(s), juice and slices
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 jar caviar
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 4 tbsp sweet cream
  • some lettuce leaves for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Salmon buns

Mix the Caprino cream cheese with horseradish, lemon juice, paprika, and cream until doughy. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly among the salmon slices and roll them into roulades. Slice one hard-boiled egg and quarter the other. Finely chop the onion. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate and arrange the salmon roulades evenly on top. Place the egg slices in the spaces between them and top with the finely chopped onion and caviar. Arrange the lemon slices decoratively around the edge of the plate. Place the quartered egg in the center. Refrigerate the finished platter until ready to serve.
