Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple but delicious

Slice the spring onions into thin rings. Dice the salmon as finely as possible. The finer the diced salmon, the better the tartar tastes. Mix the onion rings and salmon cubes with the cream cheese. Season to taste with plenty of lemon juice, a little pepper, about a teaspoon of creamed horseradish, a pinch of salt, and about 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Add some chopped chives, if desired. Whisk the mixture with a little cream or milk until smooth. Place small mounds on round slices of black bread and serve as a party snack or with rolls.
