Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 3 small onions, red
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 small red chili pepper (cabe kecil merah)
- 1 chili pepper(s), red, pepper-like (cabe besar merah)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 100 g pulp of Sawo Manila, alternatively ripe apricots or peeled peaches (also from the can)
- 80 g pulp of a ripe papaya
- 5 tbsp coconut milk, creamy
- 6 tbsp orange juice
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
an exotic sambal for marinating
Blend all ingredients in a blender on speed 1 until smooth. Season with salt and sugar. Consume as soon as possible. It will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
