Saté Skewers with Two Types of Sauce

The perfect saté skewers with two types of sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 tbsp Soybean oil
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 300 g Chicken fillets
  • 300 g Pork meat
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds white
  • 1 tbsp Sesame black
  • 1 shot Chilli sauces
  • 24 Pc. Wooden skewers
  1. Peel the onion and garlic and finely dice the onion. Press garlic through a garlic press. Heat a tablespoon of soybean oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Season with lemon juice, sambal oelek, cayenne pepper and soy sauce.
  2. Wash the meat and pat dry. Cut into 24 thin strips and place on wooden skewers in a wave shape. Heat one to two tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the skewers for four to five minutes until golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle the skewers with sesame seeds and arrange on a plate. Serve with chili sauce.
