Saté Skewers with Two Types of Sauce
The perfect saté skewers with two types of sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 tbsp Soybean oil
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 300 g Chicken fillets
- 300 g Pork meat
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds white
- 1 tbsp Sesame black
- 1 shot Chilli sauces
- 24 Pc. Wooden skewers
- Peel the onion and garlic and finely dice the onion. Press garlic through a garlic press. Heat a tablespoon of soybean oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Season with lemon juice, sambal oelek, cayenne pepper and soy sauce.
- Wash the meat and pat dry. Cut into 24 thin strips and place on wooden skewers in a wave shape. Heat one to two tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the skewers for four to five minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the skewers with sesame seeds and arrange on a plate. Serve with chili sauce.
