Sauerkraut Patties IV

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g sauerkraut
  • 35 g ginger
  • 2 handfuls of leeks, frozen
  • 20 peppercorns, ground
  • 150 g lentils, red, ground
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 16 minutes; Total time approx. 46 minutes

gluten-free, vegan, grain-free

Strain or squeeze the sauerkraut, reserving the juice, finely chop the sauerkraut, and place it in a bowl. Add 30g of finely chopped ginger, leek, ground pepper, and ground lentils. Mix together. If it’s too dry, add the strained sauerkraut juice. With wet hands, form 4 patties and fry in hot oil over reduced heat until well cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side. My own recipe: Cooking time: about 6-8 minutes per side.
