Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g sauerkraut
- 3 m.-large bay leaves
- 6 juniper berries
- 1 cup broth
- 3 tsp honey, cloudy
- 1 pinch(s) of caraway powder

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Place the sauerkraut in a pot, add the broth, and add all the other ingredients. Simmer for half an hour. Serve with smoked pork or bockwurst and mashed potatoes.
