Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter, half melted
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 800 g minced beef
  • 100 g olives, green
  • oregano
  • Thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cans of tomatoes
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp chili flakes
  • Oil, for greasing the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, half-melted butter (microwave for about 30 seconds), salt, and 50 ml water. Wrap it in foil and refrigerate. Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in 1 tablespoon of oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until browned. Chop the olives and fold them in, seasoning everything with salt and pepper and seasoning with thyme, chili flakes, and oregano. Deseed the tomatoes and fold in their juices. Simmer the mixture for about 20 minutes. The pastry can now be placed in a quiche dish (or springform pan), including the edges. Add the minced meat mixture (CAUTION: if the liquid hasn’t completely reduced, add the minced meat first and then some of the sauce, otherwise it will become soggy) and crumble the feta over the top. Finally, bake the whole thing in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) for 45 minutes. A tomato salad goes well with it.
