Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes
For the base, knead the flour with the egg, the butter cubes and a generous pinch of salt to form a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about an hour. For the topping, finely slice the wild garlic and finely dice the ham. Mix the cream cheese, eggs and cream one after the other until smooth. Stir in the ham and wild garlic. Season well with salt and pepper. Grease a large springform pan or cake tin. Roll out the dough thinly on a lightly floured surface. Place in the tin, pull up one edge and prick several times with a fork. Spread the wild garlic mixture on top. Slice the chili pepper into small rings and arrange on top. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake the tart for about 40 minutes. In the meantime, fry the bacon cubes in a pan until crispy and then spread them on top of the tart.
