Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g scampi
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 300 g peas, frozen
  • 100 g leek
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chinese style

Cover the frozen peas and cook in salted water for about 6 minutes, then drain. Halve the leek, trim, wash thoroughly, and cut into thin slices. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the leek until translucent. Add the scampi and fry until light brown on all sides. Add the peas, season with the spices mentioned above, and heat through again. Serve immediately. Serve with fresh white bread or cooked glass noodles.
